Continue a game
Choose Continue game on Nordoku’s start screen. Lessons and technique practice don’t affect your saved game. Starting a new regular, Zen or daily game replaces your saved game only after you confirm.
Hints and notes
Hints reveal the reasoning step by step. Ask for more help in the same card or try the move yourself. In notes mode, tapping the same number button repeatedly adds the candidate, crosses it out, then removes it. Turn notes mode off to enter an answer.
Scan a puzzle
Choose New game → Enter your own puzzle → Scan with camera. Take one photo of the whole grid from straight above and choose Use Photo. Check and correct the digits before choosing Check and play. To use an existing photo or screenshot instead, tap Choose photo. You can also enter digits by hand or paste an 81-cell puzzle.
Back up or change devices
With iCloud sync on, progress and your unfinished puzzle move automatically to devices that use the same Apple Account. You can also choose Settings → Export backup and save the file somewhere safe. On the other device, choose Settings → Restore backup. Restoring replaces that device’s game, progress and settings. A backup contains your private gameplay data, so share it only with people you trust.
Text and theme
Settings lets you change the language, appearance, color theme and text size. Device default follows the iOS text size setting. You can also zoom with two fingers. Longer screens scroll.
If something goes wrong
Close and reopen the app. Export a backup before removing it. Record the steps needed to reproduce the issue, your device model, iOS version and the app version. A screenshot helps; remove unnecessary personal information.
Delete your data
Delete local data in Settings removes your game, learning progress and settings from this app after confirmation. With sync on, you choose whether to delete from this device only or also from iCloud and all your devices. Exported backups remain wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself.
